“We got married in June 2022, which was not the easiest time to host a wedding.  It was still the best and most magical day of our lives, for which we owe thanks to D-Day Events!  Donna and Karen worked their magic on the day of, and Donna really puts in the time and effort to double check that everything is covered in advance of the big day.  Not only were we impressed with her wedding management skills, but also the timeline she created for the day was thorough and well thought out.  If it wasn’t for Donna, I’m sure we would have missed more than a few things, so she really did save the day on multiple occasions.  Beyond that, Donna was incredibly friendly and super easy to communicate with.  Donna stays on top of her email communications, but what I loved was that I could text her when I needed to reach out with thoughts or questions.  She was there when we needed her.  She tackled many tasks, like wrangling vendors and staying on top of final deadlines.  Honestly like a fairy godmother in many ways, D-Day Events gave us our fairy tale wedding!”

“After getting engaged we knew we would need some help with our day-of coordination. During our first conversation with Donna, we knew she was the right person for the job. After securing her services she made contact with all of our vendors. We were floundering a bit with finding an officiant and Donna helped us, which was amazing. We had 4 total meetings with Donna leading up to the big day. In these meetings, Donna wanted to make sure she understood our wishes for the day. She went over every detail with a fine-tooth comb to make sure she completely understood our vision/wishes. From these meetings, Donna created a down-to-the-minute timeline which she quickly distributed to all the vendors serving updates too as needed. 

On the day of the event, she was the first to arrive and inventory the rentals. Before we even arrived she had the rentals staged, directed the florist where to store the flowers, and had started setting up other small details we had mentioned.  Her presence was certainly known but not overpowering. There were a few unforeseen issues that arose with the Venue and the DJ, but Donna used her superior communication and delegation skills to handle them swiftly and smoothly making them non-issues quickly, and didn’t alert us until after as to not interrupt our special day. 

All in all our experience with Donna as our day of coordinator was stress-free, smooth, and delightful. It was invaluable to have an advocate who absorbed your vision and was able to execute/direct everyone to follow suit. This day is about you, let Donna be your eyes ears, and hands while you’re otherwise engaged on the actual wedding day.”
